Insects..

as in, these things have been bugging me..

1)a moment in Movie IV-Leo's fist/fingers flexing
around his sword hilt as he braces for the final
clash with Raph--there are those who aver
that he is deliberately rotating the weapon
so that the next stroke will fall dull edge foremost..
now then, does anyone recall, from one of the new toons,
a similiar motion on his part-a flexing of fist around a sword's hilt?
only, this time, his hand is enclosed in a gauntlet..
and the sword is the demon sword of Tengu???
(p.s.excursus-that gauntlet--every view we had of it,
seemed to show it as a true glove, with four fingers
and a thumb... we may speculate that interiorly,
it was really a 'mitten' and a three fingered hand
could wear it quite comfortably...)
But we may never know...

2)some of the Marx Bros. movies are available on DVD...
& if anyone cares, they're worth viewing...
but I'm just old enuf...
I think it's (NT) "Search for Splinter, pt.2"-
they're infiltrating the TCRI building..
& there is a sequence of entering and exiting
multiple doors of rooms that all look the same..
(pay particular attention to the soundtrack
playing during this compounded confusion)

(in case you didn't know -- there really were
four of them, too)
I know that in one of their films, the four
Marx brothers did just such a scene-
& I recognized it when four mutated turtles
went thru the same hilarious antics.
